The Faculty of Computer Engineering and Sciences holds a workshop entitled "Assessment of the Information Technology Curriculum"

On the evening of Monday, May 23, the Faculty of Computer Engineering and Sciences held an internal workshop at the Kuwait Electronic Station under the title "Assessment of the Information Technology Curriculum", in the presence of the Dean of the "Assessment of the Information Technology Curriculum", Dr. Hassan Abdulmutallab Mugaibel, and members of the Teaching Staff in the Information Technology Department.

The workshop discussed the current curriculum of the Department of Information Technology for the bachelor's degree, the most important developments witnessed by the information technology departments in other universities, and how to catch up with international universities that adopt the development of their curricula in line with the global revolution in information technology.

Al-Ahgaff University is one of the first universities to adopt an advanced approach in teaching computer subjects since its inception.

During the discussion, some proposals were put forward to develop the curriculum and adopt modern programming languages ​​to teach students, in addition to developing the practical side with the support of the university presidency, which provided modern technical laboratories that keep pace with the required developments.

At the conclusion of the workshop, recommendations were made and it was agreed to hold other workshops during the coming weeks in the context of evaluating the Information Technology curriculum for Bachelor degree.
