On the morning of Saturday, January 13, 2024, the Faculty of Computer Engineering and Science launched the second semester for the academic year 2023-2024 according to the university calendar.

The Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Hamza Al-Aidaroos, examined the status of the educational process and visited several Information Technology Department classrooms in the Faculty building as well as the hallways used by female students in the Information Technology Department at the Girls' Faculty.

The Dean of the Faculty presented an orientation address to both male and female students during his inspection visit. He provided them instructions, counsel, and guidance, urged them to work hard in order to achieve respectable outcomes, and wished them luck and success. Mr. Bassam Al-Tamimi, the Faculty's registrar, also highlighted the necessity to commit to attendance and adhere to examination and grievances procedures in accordance with the laws and regulations.

The Dean of the Faculty noted that the faculty aims to provide all needs and requirements in a way that helps raise academic performance and achieve goals. The Dean also praised the efforts and commitment of the faculty to attendance and discipline. The Dean also thanked the administrative staff for helping to create the right atmosphere for students to begin the educational process smoothly and regularly.

The inauguration was attended by Mr. Omar Bahkam, coordinator of the information technology department at the faculty.
