A field trip for students of the Fifth Level, Department of Sharia and Law to some administrative institutions in the Wadi and Sahara

The students of the Fifth Level, Sharia and Law at the College of Sharia and Law, accompanied by lecturer Mahmoud Saleh bin Humaid, teacher of Public Finance at the College, on Monday 18/11/2019, paid a field visit to some administrative institutions in the Wadi and Sahara which included the Central Bank in Seiyun, the Real Estate Registry Office and the Complex of Government Departments in Seiyun.

The students' journey started in the morning from the college building, where they headed first to the branch of the Central Bank in Seiyun, where they were received by the deputy director of the bank Mr. Bukhit Faraj Allah, who welcomed teacher Mahmoud and the students thanking them for this visit, which comes to apply what they take from theoretical science and activate it practically in real life.

The conversation between the two parties revolved around the financial operations that are managed in the central bank and Mr. Mahmoud and the students addressed many questions that were in their minds about the work of the bank, and he answered them with pleasure as the students got to know how to supply the revenues to the bank, and the most important obstacles that hinder the work of the administration and the authority of the central bank over other banks, and whether there is continuous and general control over revenues, and how to issue cash and replace the damaged, how the bank deals with money changers, and other questions. Then the deputy director, Mr. Mahmoud and students, took a tour to the bank’s corridors and different offices. At the end of the meeting Mr. Mahmoud conveyed the greetings of the dean of the college and thanked him for receiving the students and giving them the opportunity to get to know the bank and its work.

After that, the students went with their teacher Mr. Mahmoud to visit the real estate registry office where they were received by Mr. Zaki Musab, who was one of distinguished graduates of our college, and the delegation took a tour of the real estate registry office, where the students passed through the personnel affairs office, and the registration office in the real estate registry, where Sheikh Ali Awad Al Marzouki, gave an overview of how to work in the real estate registry, the measures that are taken, and the areas that fall under this authority. He also gave a brief overview of the public and private endowment. Then students went to the engineers office where the students received by the Eng. Saleh Masmoom, who briefly explained the survey and how to conduct it, then the students went to the Documentation Department, where they were received by Mr. Omar Muhammad Bajubair, who explained to them how to document real estate, endowments, sales procedures and how to register in the event of land disputes.

After that, the students went to visit the Complex of Government Departments, where it was an opportunity to visit the Civil Service Office and the office of the Ministry of Finance, where they were first received by the director of the civil service Mr. Hussein Ali Al-Samin, who provided them with all information about the work of the civil service office, and also directed to Mr. Abdullah Al-Tayyour, the recruitment officer, to provide a full explanation of the recruitment procedures and the documents necessary for applicants for employment.

After that, the students, accompanied by Mr. Mahmoud, went to the Ministry of Finance office, where they were received by the General Director of Hadhramaut Finance for the Wadi and the Sahara, Mr. Awad Yeslam Al-Ajim who welcomed them and explained to them the tasks that the administration carries out, the state’s revenue and budget process, and how to pay salaries to the employees, and how to prepare the budget for state departments.

At the end of the meeting, Mr. Al-Ajim thanked Mr. Mahmoud and the students for this visit and asked them to be of assistance to the state in restoring its prestige and establishing God’s law in it and avoiding every scourge that would destroy the community. Mr. Mahmoud also conveyed thanks and appreciation from the college and the deanship for providing the opportunity for students to visit their facility.
