Hashem Moqibel obtained PhD as the first Hadrami researcher in the field of international humanitarian law

The researcher Hashem bin Alawi bin Abdullah Moqibel, a lecturer of international law at the College of Sharia and Law, Al-Ahgaff University today, Wednesday, 11/20/2019, received the international certificate (PhD) with a recommendation to print the thesis and exchange with other universities, in the specialty of international law for his thesis entitled "Protection of Civilians and Civil Objects during Armed Conflict; a legal study under the provisions of international humanitarian law and Islamic law".

The four-hour discussion committee consisted of:

1- Prof. Dr. Yassin Saif Abdullah Al-Shaibani, Professor of International Law, Faculty of Sharia and Law, University of Sanaa (supervisor and chairman)

2- Prof. Dr. Ahmed Qassem Al-Hamidi, Professor of International Law and Dean of the Faculty of Law, University of Taiz (member).

3- Prof. Dr. Salih Zaid Kassila, Professor of International Law, Faculty of Police and University of Science and Technology (member)

 

The researcher Hashem Alwi Abdullah Muqibel is the first Hadrami to obtain a doctorate in the field of international humanitarian law, and he had obtained a bachelor’s degree from the College of Sharia and Law University of Al-Ahgaff with honors with honors, and a master’s degree from the same university with a degree of excellence.
