Students of the Faculty of Sharia and Law at Al-Ahgaff University win advanced positions in the Quranic competitions organized by Ribat Al-Elm Ashareif in Sayun

The student Ammar bin Ali Al-Marqashi, who is studying at the fifth level of Sharia, won first place in the major annual Quranic competition for memorizing the Noble Qur’an, which was organized by Ribat Al-Elm Ashareif in Sayun in the category of Half of the Noble Qur’an.

 

The student, Muhammad Rifaat Jilani, the student at the second level, also won the second place in the “Beautify the Quran with Your Voices” competition.

The major Quranic competition for memorizing the Holy Quran and the “Beautify the Quran with Your Voices” competition are among the competitions organized annually by Ribat at the level of mosques and memorization centers in Hadhramaut on the occasion of the Anniversary of Imam Ali bin Muhammad al-Habshi. Such competitions aim at paying attention to the Holy Qur’an, its memorization and recitation, and linking the schools of education and science in the country to each other.

 

The two students, Ammar Al-Marqashi and Muhammad Refaat Jilani, were both honored in a festive ceremony held on this occasion as part of the activities of the blessed anniversary.

The Deanship and Administration of the Faculty extend their congratulations to the two students and encourage them and all other students to pay attention to the Holy Qur’an, its memorization and its recitation.
