The Dean of the Faculty of Sharia and Law, Al-Ahgaff University, Dr. Abdullah Awadh bin Sumait, received in his office Thursday morning, His Eminence, Prof. Dr. Jamal Farouk Al-Daqqaq, the former Dean of the Islamic Da`wah College in Al-Azhar Al-Sharif.

At the beginning of the meeting, the Dean of the Faculty welcomed Prof. Dr. Jamal, thanking him for this visit, which comes within the scientific bond between scholars.

There was a discussion between the two parties about the process of Sharia and legal education at Al-Ahgaff University and Al-Azhar University, and the two parties reviewed the great similarities between the two universities.

Prof. Dr. Jamal Farouk made a number of valuable observations and answered the inquiries that were raised regarding academic education and the study system at Al-Azhar Al-Sharif University.

For his part, Prof. Dr. Farouk expressed his happiness with this visit, stating that he rejoiced at what he saw of the keenness and seriousness in education at Al-Ahgaff University.

The meeting was attended by Dr. Abdul Rahman Abdullah Al-Saqqaf, Head of the Department of Jurisprudence and its Principles, Dr. Arafat Al-Maqdi, Head of the Law Department, and a number of faculty professors and teachers.
