Vice-Chancellor of Al-Ahgaff University meets the Indonesian Ambassador to Amman and the Charge d'Affaires of the Yemeni Embassy

The Vice-Chancellor of Al-Ahgaff University, Dr. Sadiq Omar Maknoun, met at his office in Mukalla with his Excellency the Ambassador of Indonesia to the Sultanate of Oman Mustafa Tawfiq Abdul Latif, accompanied by the Charge d'Affaires of the Yemeni Embassy, ​​Dr. Sultan Shahril, on an official visit to inspect the conditions of the Indonesian students enrolled in the University.

At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Maknoun welcomed the visit, stressing that the University is paying attention to Indonesian students and offering all facilities for them and providing them with the appropriate atmosphere to be a good building block that will contribute to the building of Indonesian society once they graduate and return home.

On the other hand, the Indonesian Ambassador thanked the Vice Chancellor for his warm welcome and hospitality. They discussed about the Indonesian students studying at the university, their scientific excellence, academic excellence and the ways to develop their skills and knowledge in various sciences to keep abreast of developments and modernity in the world. The Ambassador and the accompanying delegation were also briefed about the University Library, its various books and volumes, the University's Engineering Consulting Office, and the Computer Hall.

 

At the end of the meeting, the Vice-Chancellor handed over the shield of the University of Al-Ahgaff to the Indonesian Ambassador, while the Ambassador presented a number of gifts to express their appreciation and admiration for the University's care and attention to their students.
