Al-Ahgaff University participates in the meetings of the 53rd virtual session of the Association of Arab Universities

Vice Chancellor of Al-Ahgaff University, Dr. Sadiq Omar Maknoun, a representative of the university, participated in the meetings of the 53rd virtual session that was held at Prince Muhammad bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz University from 25-26 Shaban, corresponding to 7-8 April 2021, in which 150 Arab university presidents participated.

The two-day conference reviewed topics within the Federation's priority related to the Arab classification of Arab universities and the documentation and protection of university degrees, especially in light of the discovery of large numbers of forged degrees.

The Academic Committee, the Financial Committee, and the membership committees discussed the specific topics presented to it. Twenty Arab universities were fully accepted and eight other universities were accepted as associate members.

The conference came out with many important recommendations that would facilitate several matters related to Arab universities in the academic field, the most important of which is to reduce subscription fees for Arab universities that are located in countries of political turmoil. The items that were referred to the General Conference were approved, which emphasized the need to continue cooperation between Arab universities in all academic fields.
