Prof. Dr. Sadeq Omar Maknoon, Vice President of the University, Prof. Zain Salem bin Aqeel, Director of Expatriate Students Affairs at the University, and Dr. Hashem Alwi Muqaibel, Professor of International Law and Head of Alumni Affairs Unit, visited the Grand Mufti of the Zanzibar Government, Sheikh Saleh Omar Kaabi.

The Sheikh welcomed the university delegation, thanking them for accepting the invitation.

Sheikh Saleh spoke about the role of Al-Ahgaff Religious University graduates in Zanzibar, thanks to what the university gave them in their educational journey until they occupied the most important and highest judicial and educational positions in Zanzibar.

Then the delegation went to visit the East African Scholars Center, where they were welcomed and toured the center's departments and its affiliating centers.

An overview was given of the work carried out by the center in serving science students and people of all sects in East African countries.

The visit concluded with memory photos of the delegation and members of the center.
