Fayez Ahmed Bin Shamla, and a large group of students from the Faculty of Sharia and Law, the Faculty of Islamic Sciences, and the Faculty of Computer Engineering and Science, in addition to the Faculty of Administration, in front of the University Presidency building in the Fuwah Al-Masaken area.

A second solidarity rally was also held for students of the Girls’ Faculty.

The rally included a number of speeches and contributions denouncing the crimes of Israeli aggression against civilians of the Palestinian people.

In his speech, the Vice President of the University indicated the necessity of activating solidarity with our people in Gaza and Palestine and denouncing the brutal crimes committed by the Israeli aggression against the defenseless civilians of our people in Gaza.

He elaborated that these crimes are in addition to the bloody history for which the Zionist enemy is famed for in Palestine.

He also warned of the necessity of establishing the concept of the entitlement of the land of Palestine to its Arab people, and that they were the first to inhabit this area, explaining that what the Jews claim is mere nonsense to justify their presence on it.

He concluded his speech by saying that this rally is an image of the solidarity offered by Al-Ahgaff University with all its faculties in support of the Palestinian cause, an issue that many countries and academic institutions have begun to ignore, distance themselves from, and erase from the minds of generations.

After that, the Secretary-General of the University, Eng. Fayez Ahmed Bin Shamla, participated in a brief speech (in Russian) in which he explained the importance of the Palestinian issue and the right of the Palestinian people to freedom and independence. He also sent a message to the world to stand against the crimes of the Israeli enemy against the Palestinian people, and stressed at the end of his speech that Palestine is An Arab and Islamic land and it will remain so.

Then Mr. Hussein Al-Saqqaf spoke and explained in his speech (in English) the oppression of this people, denouncing the crimes of the occupier, and urging them to stand up and support the oppressed Palestinians in general and the people of Gaza in particular. He also denounced in his speech the Arab silence against all these crimes and violations.

In the same context, Dr. Asfia Rahman Faisal from the State of Indonesia spoke in a brief speech (in Indonesian), which included striving to activate the spirit of Islamic brotherhood and sensing the place of Palestine in the hearts of Muslims and its sacred status that requires us to stand and show solidarity against the actions of the Israeli enemy and expose its crimes to the entire world.

Then the student Muhammad Aktham Muhammad, one of the students of the Faculty of Sharia and Law from Kenya, participated in a speech (in Kenyan) in which he summarized the oppression of the Palestinian people, and also warned of the necessity of supporting and standing by our brothers in Gaza by all available means.

After the speeches ended, the solidarity rally concluded with prayers for victory and aid for our people in Palestine.

Then another solidarity rally was held in which the students of the university’s Girls’ Faculty participated. This rally also included raising slogans against the Israeli aggression and its heinous crimes against the Palestinian people.

This rally included a speech delivered by Mr. Zein Salem bin Aqeel, Director of the Expatriates Office at the University, in which he refuted many points that show the extent of the oppression of our people in Gaza and the amount of humiliation that befell the nation due to failure to support them.

In his speech, he drew attention to the correct description of this rapist gang and the crimes it caused against children and women, which reflect the criminal mentality of this brutal occupation.

He also pointed out the need for us to review ourselves based on the extent to which we are affected when we see these crimes, and what we do to support our people in Palestine, in addition to our distance from sincerity in turning to God in supplication. He concluded his speech by asking to God the Almighty to accelerate victory for our oppressed people in Palestine and bring wrath upon the Jewish occupiers.
