On Tuesday morning, June 11, Prof. Dr. Sadiq Omar Maknoon, the Vice President of Al-Ahgaff University, welcomed Prof. Dr. Mohammed Alkhames Al-Mekhlafi, the coordinator of the Association of Arab Universities in Yemen, into his office in the university's presidency building. Prof. Dr. Ahmed Sahel Wahdain, the former Deputy Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, accompanied Prof. Dr. Al-Mekhlafi on this visit.

The university's vice president, Prof. Dr. Sadiq Maknoon, gave a thorough overview of the departments, faculties, and scientific programs the university offers at the meeting. Then the visiting guests had a tour to inspect the faculties, departments, libraries, and scientific labs of the university. They also took a look at the cutting-edge tools used to set up the College of Distance Education.

Dr. Muhammad V. Al-Mekhlafi gave a glowing review of Al-Ahgaff University's academic offerings at the conclusion of his tour. In addition to complimenting Al-Ahgaff University's innovative and illustrious role in offering educational services to students from Yemen and the Islamic world, he also commended the institution for a kind reception.

This visit was attended by Dr. Hamza Ali Al-Aidaroos, Dean of the Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering.
