The Hadhramaut Research Center at Al-Ahgaff University concludes the training program to qualify international arbitrators in international arbitration and dispute settlement in Mukalla for cadres from different specializations

The Hadhramaut Research Center for Studies, Training and Community Development at Al-Ahgaff University, in partnership with the Arab Center for Preparing International Arbitrators and Experts, concluded on Tuesday 16th of July, in the University Presidency Hall in Mukalla, the training program to qualify international arbitrators in international arbitration and dispute settlement.

Professor Sadiq Maknoon, the Executive Director of the Center and Vice President of the University, praised the diligent work of the Center's staff in putting this high-quality program into action during his speech. He also praised the Arab Center's successful partnership, the trainer Nabil Abu Hadi's distinguished style, and the trainees' extensive and excellent interaction. As Hadramaut needs qualified cadres with strong conflict-settling and resolution abilities, he wished all participants luck and success in their work serving the community in this vital subject.

During the program, which lasted for 15 days and taught 15 trainees from various specializations how to draft contracts and understand the concept of arbitration, investment contracts, international trade contracts, the World Trade Organization's dispute settlement party, and contracts, engineering construction, Dr. Arafat Al-Maqdi spoke on behalf of all the trainees and confirmed the great benefit from the program. In addition, the trainees gained communication skills during arbitration sessions and expressed their gratitude to the center's leadership for coming up with the idea for this unique program, which is being implemented for the first time in Hadhramaut.

The speech ceremony was attended by the legal advisor at Al-Ahgaff University, Dr. Hashem Muqaibel, the center’s training director, Mr. Muhammad Al-Buri, and the center’s training programs advisor, Mr. Ahmed Al-Tamimi.
