As part of the partnership and cooperation between the Hadramout Court of Appeal and the Hadramout Research Center at Al-Ahgaff University, and reflecting both parties’ commitment to keeping pace with rapid technological developments and enhancing the skills of judicial personnel, a specialized training course entitled “Artificial Intelligence and Judicial Justice” was launched. The course is being held from 20 to 22 September 2026.

The training program is delivered by Consultant Dr. Hashem Alawi Muqaibel, a specialist in artificial intelligence and its applications in the legal and judicial environment. The program combines theoretical knowledge with practical applications, helping participants become familiar with the latest tools and technologies and exploring their potential uses in the judicial field.

The course targets judicial personnel in Hadramout Governorate and aims to enhance their awareness of the potential of artificial intelligence in developing judicial and administrative work and introduce modern approaches to utilizing AI within the court environment. This is intended to improve performance efficiency and service quality while observing professional and legal standards and the requirements for the responsible and secure use of these technologies.

The program covers a number of specialized topics, most notably legal concepts and applications of artificial intelligence in judicial work, Prompt Engineering, and the use of AI applications to examine and analyze case files in accordance with professional and legal standards.

The program also addresses ways of employing artificial intelligence technologies in the administrative operations of courts, including the work of the court president and director, the Court Clerk’s Office, the Secretariat, enforcement, and public services. It also presents practical models and applications that contribute to improving institutional performance, facilitating procedures, and enhancing efficiency.

The organization of this course comes within the context of expanding areas of cooperation between judicial institutions and academic and research institutions, strengthening the exchange of expertise and knowledge, and keeping pace with rapid developments in artificial intelligence. These efforts support the development of judicial and administrative performance and digital transformation within the judicial work environment.

The course reflects the commitment of the Hadramout Court of Appeal and the Hadramout Research Center at Al-Ahgaff University to building professional capacities, developing competencies, and promoting informed and responsible use of modern technologies in the service of justice and the development of judicial institutions, in line with the requirements of the modern era and digital transformation.
