Praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds, and may peace and blessings be upon the noblest of the Prophets and Messengers, our Prophet and Messenger, Muhammad, and upon his family and all his Companions.

It is my pleasure to welcome you to the website of the College of Graduate Studies at Al-Ahgaff University.

Graduate studies at Al-Ahgaff University commenced in 2000, when seven students were admitted to pursue a Master’s degree in Arabic Language. In the years that followed, the College witnessed significant development through the establishment of programs in Islamic Jurisprudence and its Principles, Law, Information Technology, and Information Systems, in addition to the PhD program in Islamic Jurisprudence and its Principles.

The College of Graduate Studies has formulated its vision as follows:

“Excellence and leadership in scientific research to achieve sustainable development.”

Its mission is:

“To develop high-quality graduate programs that prepare specialized scientific and research professionals who combine authenticity with innovation, meet the needs of the labor market and serve society, and strengthen the foundations of sustainable development by providing a stimulating learning environment that employs the latest scientific methods and modern technologies.”

The College of Graduate Studies works to align its academic programs with the needs of the labor market and the requirements of local, regional, and international institutions, whether in the fields of humanities or applied sciences.

Looking ahead, the College aims to introduce new graduate programs at both the Master’s and PhD levels, keeping pace with the latest developments in science and technology, national development plans, and local and international quality standards. These efforts seek to contribute to graduating specialists who demonstrate a high level of academic excellence.

In accordance with its strategic plan, the College also places particular emphasis on scientific research and promoting a culture of research, innovation, and creativity. It encourages distinguished faculty members and students to contribute to knowledge creation, thereby ensuring the graduation of well-trained professionals capable of innovation, achieving leadership in their respective fields, and making meaningful contributions to the development of their communities.

The College is responsible for overseeing the implementation of the University’s policies concerning graduate studies. It also undertakes a wide range of academic and administrative activities through its academic committees and administrative units.
