Responsibilities of the International Students Affairs Office
The International Students Affairs Office is responsible for:
- Facilitating the arrival of scholarship students and international students to Yemen at the scheduled time, assisting with their accommodation and residence arrangements, and completing the required official procedures.
- Preparing an annual report on the Office's achievements, challenges encountered, and proposed measures for improving its services and overcoming difficulties, and submitting these reports to the relevant University authorities.
- Following up on international students whose nominations have been cancelled or who have been dismissed from the University's various faculties.
- Receiving and processing the files and documents of international students.
- Completing enrollment procedures for newly nominated international students across the University's various faculties.
- Reviewing international students' files and ensuring that all documents are properly authenticated and approved before forwarding them to the relevant faculty according to each student's nomination.
- Following up on students' domestic and international travel arrangements.
- Processing and following up on transfer requests, changes of enrollment, and amendments to student nominations.
- Following up on the disbursement and delivery of financial entitlements.
- Assisting students with the renewal of passports and residence permits.
- Preparing lists of international students enrolled in the University's various faculties.
- Preparing statistical reports on the number and nationalities of international students.
- Monitoring the academic status, progress, and regular attendance of international students enrolled in the University's academic programs.
- Following up on the issuance and delivery of certificates to international students at all academic levels.
- Maintaining communication and coordination with the University's offices and relevant bodies locally and internationally.
