The Faculty of Women at Al-Ahgaff University began its academic journey in the 1997–1998 academic year in the city of Mukalla, Hadramout Governorate. It is the fourth faculty to be established at the University and comprises four academic departments: the Department of Islamic Studies, the Department of Arabic Language, the Department of Computer Engineering, and the Department of English Language.
Since its establishment, the Faculty has witnessed significant growth and development under the supervision of a highly qualified academic staff.
To date, the Faculty has graduated seventeen cohorts in Islamic Studies, one cohort in Arabic Language, nine cohorts in Computer Engineering, and five cohorts in English Language.
