The Faculty of Arts and Humanities was established in the academic year 2008/2009 with the English Language Department, founded by a distinguished group of highly qualified local and international professors. The Faculty was originally planned to include the following programs and specializations:
A. English Language Department
Affiliated with the English Language Unit.
B. Arabic Language Department
Affiliated with the Arabic Language Center for Non-Native Speakers.
C. Sociology Department
D. Media Department
However, the Faculty currently includes only the English Language Department, in addition to the Arabic Language Center for Non-Native Speakers and the English Language Unit, which is responsible for preparing and implementing language programs for the requirements of the Faculty of Accounting and Business Administration and the Faculty of Computer Science.
To date, the Faculty has graduated six cohorts from the English Language Department.
