International Students

Any applicant who does not hold Yemeni nationality or a secondary school certificate issued by a Yemeni school is considered an international student and must meet the following requirements for admission to the University.

Admission Requirements

  1. Successful completion of secondary education or its equivalent.
  2. Passing the admission test and personal interview.
  3. The student must be enrolled as a full-time student.
  4. Payment of the prescribed tuition fees.
  5. The student must be medically fit.
  6. The secondary school certificate must not have been issued more than four years prior to the application.
  7. Fulfillment of any additional requirements specific to the relevant faculty.

The Admission and Registration Department implements the University's policies related to student admission and registration. It is committed to facilitating procedures, overcoming difficulties, and responding to any inquiries students may have, from the moment of their admission through graduation and even beyond.

Arabic Language for Non-Native Speakers

 

The Arabic Language Center for Non-Native Speakers was established in 2007 as an independent center supervised by the Faculty of Arts and Humanities. It aims to teach the Arabic language to non-native speakers.

Entry and Residence Visa

Required Documents for Registration

  1. The original secondary school certificate.
  2. Two certified copies of the secondary school certificate or its equivalent, duly authenticated.
  3. A copy of the national ID, family card, or passport. Non-Yemeni students must also provide a valid residence permit where applicable.
  4. A completed registration application form.
  5. Eight recent passport-sized photographs (4 × 6 cm).

Tuition Fees

  • USD 2,000 for scientific and applied disciplines.
  • USD 1,700 for humanities disciplines.
