Al-Ahgaff University, represented by the Deanship of Quality and Academic Accreditation, signed today, Wednesday, a cooperation agreement with Misab Center for Strategic Studies and Quality Development, under which the Center will serve as an external reviewer in preparing the self-study for the Fiqh and Usul al-Fiqh Program at the Faculty of Sharia and Law, in accordance with the standards of the Academic Accreditation Council and the requirements for quality assurance in higher education. The signing was attended by the Vice President of the University, Professor Sadiq Omar Maknoon.

The agreement was signed on behalf of Al-Ahgaff University by Professor Ahmed Saleh Khured, Dean of Quality and Academic Accreditation, and on behalf of Misab Center for Strategic Studies and Quality Development by the Center’s Director, Dr. Salem Ahmed Baawadi.

The agreement aims to provide technical and consultancy support to the University in preparing the program’s self-study and reviewing the extent to which it meets academic accreditation standards and requirements. This will contribute to improving the program’s performance, strengthening its quality system, and completing the requirements for obtaining programmatic academic accreditation.

Both parties emphasized the importance of this step in enhancing the quality of the educational process in the Fiqh and Usul al-Fiqh Program, improving academic and institutional performance, and consolidating a culture of quality and continuous assessment in accordance with academic accreditation standards and the requirements of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

The agreement comes as part of Al-Ahgaff University’s efforts to develop its academic programs and ensure their compliance with quality and academic accreditation standards, thereby enhancing the quality of its educational outcomes and advancing the level of its academic programs.

It is worth noting that Al-Ahgaff University and Misab Center for Strategic Studies and Quality Development have previously implemented a number of programs and training courses in the fields of quality and academic accreditation as part of their ongoing cooperation.
