The specialized training course entitled “Artificial Intelligence and Judicial Justice” concluded in Mukalla on Tuesday evening. The course was organized by the Hadramout Research Center at Al-Ahgaff University in cooperation with the Hadramout Court of Appeal from 20 to 22 September 2026, with the participation of a number of judicial personnel from Hadramout Governorate.

The closing ceremony was attended by Judge Taha Omar Al-Haddar, President of the Hadramout Court of Appeal, who reviewed the key topics and themes addressed during the course concerning artificial intelligence applications in the judicial environment. He praised the importance of keeping pace with modern technological developments and developing the capabilities of judicial personnel in ways that contribute to improving performance and enhancing institutional work.

Judge Al-Haddar also expressed his thanks and appreciation to Al-Ahgaff University and the Hadramout Research Center. He praised the knowledge and practical applications presented by the course instructor, Consultant Dr. Hashem Alawi Muqaibel, throughout the training sessions, particularly regarding artificial intelligence and its applications in judicial work, as well as its use in the administrative operations of courts, the court clerk’s office, the secretariat, enforcement, and public services.

At the conclusion of the course, the participants were honored and presented with certificates of participation in recognition of their commitment to benefiting from the training program and developing their skills in modern technologies. The organizers and trainers of the course were also honored, in an atmosphere that reflected the importance of partnership between judicial institutions and academic and research institutions.

The closing ceremony was attended by Dr. Mohammed Salem Al-Bouri, Director of Training at the Hadramout Research Center.
