The Faculty of Engineering and Computer Science hosts a symposium titled "Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Scrum Model"

On Tuesday, March 22nd, the Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering held a seminar entitled "Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Scrum Model"

This is part of its plan to activate the faculty’s scientific activities during the second semester of the academic year 2021-2022

This symposium was presented by the Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Hassan Abdel Muttalib Mugaibel who discussed the importance of identifying the Scrum method used in many institutions for managing and developing computer programs.

The method and its importance were identified in project management, and a case study was presented to clarify how the Scrum method works in software development.

The symposium witnessed an interaction from the attending students, accompanied by discussions, inquiries and interventions from faculty members about the Scrum method.

 

For his part, the dean of the faculty explained that this seminar is the first of its kind, and that the faculty, in addition to the teaching staff, is scheduled to use external professors to hold future seminars on topics of interest to the targeted students over the course of the second semester.

The seminar was attended by faculty members of the faculty.
