The Hadramout Research Center for Studies, Training and Community Development at Al-Ahgaff University concluded on Monday 29^th of July in the training hall at the center's headquarters in Al-Mukalla, in cooperation with the Genius Mind Center for Teaching Mental Calculation and Intelligence Games, a course to prepare trainers for the "Soroban" mental calculation program.

The center's training director, Mr. Muhammad Al-Bouri, urged, during his speech at the conclusion of the training course, the necessity of applying the valuable information contained in this course to develop mental abilities by learning addition, subtraction, multiplication and division quickly and accurately without using pens, paper and calculators, but rather by using the principles and rules of the Japanese abacus.

Al-Bouri explained that the course targeted several trainees from different schools, including Al-Maarif, Al-Rushd, Al-Nahda and Uzamaa Al-Ummah schools, noting that it is one of the rare courses in the city's institutes, and was implemented this time after the great success of the first batch last year, wishing all trainees success.

The closing ceremony was attended by the course trainer, Mr. Muhammad Mahfouz Basabih.
