The Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Abdullah Awad Bin Sumait, met today at his office at the Faculty of Sharia and Law in Tarim, the Legal Advisor Khaled Awad Howeidi, Director of Tarim Directorate, who visited the Faculty on this morning, Monday, 17/9/2018.

The Director Huwaidi expressed his great happiness in this visit and discussed with the Dean of the Faculty relevant topics of interest about the Faculty and its students, especially with regard to the area of ​​legal specialization, which became important and urgent in these difficult periods experienced by the country.

Director Huwaidi elaborated on the problems of interest to the students of sharia and law and stressed the importance of continuing their qualification to play their roles in society.

The Director of the Directorate expressed the intention of the General Administration of the Directorate to open the door of communication and cooperation with the Faculty of Sharia and Law and all law students in the province to establish the Association of Graduates of Sharia and Law in Hadramout to take on the task of developing students, especially in the legal aspect and holding training courses applied to them.

The Director of the Directorate stressed that the students of the law should work to develop themselves and work to develop their skills as all administrative institutions need them in the legal aspect.

The Director of the Directorate pointed out that all the negatives spread in the society will end if the students of Sharia and law did their roles in communities through the dissemination of legal awareness among the people.

For his part, the Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Abdullah Awad bin Sumait, thanked Huwaidi for this visit, which shows his keenness to pay attention to all the scientific bodies in the country, especially the Faculty of Sharia and Law, which is the largest academic institution, which provided the community inside and outside the country with many good outputs who took over posts in all departments such as judges, lawyers, imams and teachers.

The Dean Bin Sumait explained to the Director Huwaidi the role of the Faculty in the society and that it is a faculty that teaches the sharia and legal sciences fully for free.

The Dean elaborated that the Faculty combines for the student between the original sharia science, which offered to him through sheikhs and specialized professors, and the legal science for which they developed carefully selected curricula to graduate students at a high level in both Sharia and law.

At the end of the meeting, the Dean Bin Sumait explored with the Director Huwaidi the departments of the Faculty and visited the registration department and the library of the Faculty and gave a speech to the fifth level students of law.

The meeting was attended by Mr. Abdullah Hussein Al-Aidarous, Head of the Arabic Language Department, Dr. Alawi Abdulqader Al-Aidarous, Secretary General of the Department of Fatwa and Research at the Faculty, and Mr. Arafat Abdul Rahman Al-Maqadi, Deputy Head of Department of Law.
