Dr. Abdullah Awad bin Sumait, Dean of the Faculty of Sharia and Law at Al-Ahgaff University, received at his office on Wednesday Dr. Imad Abdulaziz Mujahid Al-Tamimi, Head of the Department of Meteorology in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and Dr. Hisham Al-Hamrani, Mufti of Ma'an Governorate in Jordan, who visited Hadramout to monitor the time of Fajr prayer after the dispute over the timetables currently used in Hadramout.

The Dean welcomed the delegation and thanked them for taking time to visit the Faculty to see the progress of education and to see the conditions of students and teachers.

Talks between the two sides on issues of concern to the nation and the role of science in it, and the importance of educating people about Sharia and law and persuading people to follow the teachings of Islam, understanding the scholars of the nation and the religious schools of islamic jurisprudence and in concordance with what is required by continuous developments of life.

The Jordanian delegation expressed their happiness for being in Hadramout, the land of science and knowledge, and showed their astonishment of what they saw of the conditions of students of science and researchers.

The meeting was attended by Dr. Abdulrahman Abdullah Al-Saqqaf, Head of the Department of Islamic Jurisprudence and its principles, Mr. Abdullah Hussein Al-Aidarous, Head of Department of Machine Sciences, Dr. Mustafa Bin Sumait, Head of Graduate Studies, Dr. Alawi Al-Aidarous, Secretary General of Research and Fatwa Department, and Mr. Arafat Al-Maqadi , Acting Head of Department of Law.

The Jordanian delegation was accompanied by Mr. Anwar Belqasir, Director of Memorization Department at the Office of the Ministry of Awqaf and Guidance in Wadi Hadramout and Sahara.
