The Dean of the Faculty of Sharia and Law, Dr. Abdullah Awad bin Sumait, met on Thursday 21/2/2019 at his office in the Faculty of Sharia and Law with a delegation of teachers and students of the Community College in Al-Shihr City. The delegation was headed by Dr. Salah Salem bin Dahman, Head of Department of Applied Sciences, Mr. Mohammad Obeid Barahem, Deputy Dean of Administrative and Financial Affairs and Mr. Mohammad Faraj Bin Sweilemin, Director of Registration at the College.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Dean welcomed the teachers and the students and thanked them for this step, which comes within the activation of the role of academic and cultural exchange among scientific institutes.
The Dean provided the delegation with a comprehensive overview of the Faculty of Sharia and Law and its educational systems, and explained to them the sections and courses taught and the various disciplines that qualify the student science of the faculty.
Mr. Mohammed Bin Swailmin also presented a summary of the community college, its departments and specializations, and the percentage of students' seeking to join it. He stressed that the practical aspect represents 75% of the field of study.
Talks between the two sides on the importance of activating the technical professional side in the community and that the need is urgent for that, and that the students should not receive abstract science, but must seek to apply it and benefit the community.
The delegation of the community college (teachers and students) were briefed on the faculty departments and visited its library and met with a number of professors of the faculty in an atmosphere of great joy and joy and joy of this visit as they saw and touched the atmosphere of knowledge in the faculty.
