The Faculty of Sharia and Law, Mukalla Branch, welcomes first-level students for the academic year 2022-2023

On Thursday, October 13, 2022, a welcome session was held for first-level students, the twenty-eighth batch of the Faculty of Sharia and Law, Mukalla Branch.

Dr. Abdullah Muhammad Al-Hamid, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Sharia and Law, along with Mr. Muhammad Saleh Bawazir, Registrar of the Faculty, received the second group of international students from the Republic of Indonesia.

At the beginning, the Vice Dean welcomed students from different nationalities studying in the faculty in addition to local students, where there are Indonesian, Tanzanian, Ethiopian and Somali students. The dean gave an introductory overview of the faculty, departments and years of study, and explained that the first academic year is taught in Mukalla, then the students move to Tarim to complete the rest of the years at the Faculty of Sharia and Law.

Then the registrar of the Faculty, Mr. Muhammad Saleh Bawazir, spoke about the university system in force in terms of attendance, absence, exams, dismissal, repetition, cheating, failure, grades, and others. Explaining the penalties and measures taken by the faculty in the event of a violation of the university system.

It is reported that later groups of Indonesian students will flock to the faculty in the coming weeks.
