On Wednesday morning 8/3/2023, a workshop was held in the library of the Faculty of Sharia and Law, Al-Ahgaff University, which was coordinated by the Dean of the Faculty of Sharia and Law, represented by the Dean of the Faculty, and the University’s Alumni Affairs Unit.
The workshop was implemented by Dr. Ahmed Alawi Al-Saqqaf, an expert in endowment, who spoke about the graduate’s relationship with those around him before his graduation and after his graduation. He also explained that the university’s relationship with the graduates is a one-family relationship that does not break after graduation, but continues after that with successive development and stages.
Dr. Al-Saqqaf also indicated that students' identity must be refined and their creativity and talents demonstrated through the activities held at the university in addition to their academic level and discussions with professors, which leads to achieving loyalty to the university.
Dr. Al-Saqqaf indicated that the multiplicity of the graduates' activities, their role in their reality, and their association with the university in which they studied is a main axis in the alumni unit, praising the role of the university and the unit in strengthening the relationship between the graduate and the university, indicating that this is typical of distinguished international universities such as Harvard, Oxford and Cambridge, and he evidenced by showing real stories that actually support that.
It is noteworthy that the workshop was broadcasted via Zoom, where the Head of the Alumni Affairs Unit, Dr. Hashim Alawi Muqaibel, participated in it via Zoom, providing valuable intervention on the topic of the workshop.
At the end of the workshop, Dr. Al-Saqqaf thanked the attendees for their participation, wishing the university success in leadership.
In turn, the Head of the Alumni Unit, Dr. Hashem Alawi Muqaibel, thanked Dr. Al-Saqqaf for presenting the workshop and for his great efforts to make it a success.
