Last January, a number of university executives and faculty members witnessed the charity dish event at the Women's Faculty, which was officially opened by the university's vice president, professor Sadiq Omar Maknoon. Mrs. Sophia Al-Muhammadi, the dean of the women's faculty, welcomed them.

In collaboration with the Department of Activities and the Deanship of the Faculty, the female students of the Islamic Studies and Information Technology departments organized this event. The revenues from it will be donated to a ceremony that honors the orphans. Various Arabic and Asian foods were brought by the female students from the Islamic Studies Department and the Department of Information Technology. This activity is regarded as the faculty's contribution to the community service field.

The participants conveyed their delight for this charity event's displays. The University's Secretary-General, Engineer Fayez Bin Shamla, the Director of Expatriate Affairs, Mr. Zain Bin Aqeel, the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Computer Science, Dr. Hamza Al-Aidaroos, and several academic staff members and administrators were present at the event's opening.
