On August 25, 2021, Al-Ahgaff University hosted a delegation from the Hadhramaut Center for Historical Studies, Documentation and Publication in the office of the Vice Chancellor of the University, Dr. Sadiq Omar Maknoon where he met Mr. Mohammed Salem bin Ali Jaber, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Center, and Dr. Abdullah Saeed Al-Jaidi, Director General of the Center.

During the meeting, they discussed ways of cooperation between Al-Ahgaff University represented by the Hadhramaut Research Center and the Hadhramaut Center for Historical Studies, Documentation and Publication to serve the heritage and history of Hadhramaut, and they talked about the possibility of holding joint seminars and conferences and about the efforts made to establish the Hadhrami Encyclopedia.

The delegation expressed their happiness of this visit, thanking the chancellery of the university for the efforts made in serving the heritage of Hadhramaut.

Then the delegation went on an introductory tour around the university.

The meeting was attended by Mr. Muhammad Salem Al-Buri, Director of Training at the Hadhramaut Research Center, and Dr. Hashem Alawi Muqaibel, Legal Counsel of the University.
