On Saturday, August 21, 2021, Al-Ahgaff University celebrated the graduation of 74 students from the Faculty of Management and Economics, majoring in Accountancy, batch 23, and the Faculty of Engineering and Computer Science, majoring in Information Systems, batch 9 under the slogan of Systems and Accounting Base.
The ceremony began with some revered verses of the Holy Quran, recited by the student Abdul Rahman Al-San'ani.
The graduates of the batch were presented to the stage amid the welcome and greetings from the parents and families who came to share their joy with their sons.
Then the graduates of the accounting and computer majors went to the stage to take commemorative photos and participate in a tableau presented by the artist Mazen Salah Banboua.
A theatrical performance was held in English, presented by a group of university students, which talked about the role of the English language in the university students’ career and its importance in their future.
Then the graduate Omar Salmeen Belfakih went to the stage to deliver the graduates’ speech in which he spoke about the fruits of study and the educational attainment they received at Al-Ahgaff University, without which they would not have reached what they are now. He specifically thanked and appreciated the university administration, faculty members and everyone who contributed to supporting their scientific career and thanked the parents and families for their support for their sons so that they’ve found the fruit of what they did before them in this joyful ceremony.
Then the student, Muhyiddin Ahmed Al-Somali, recited a poem in celebration of his fellow students and the university. This was followed by a show of Zerbadi from Hadrami folklore.
Then the chancellor of the university, Prof. Abdullah Muhammad Baharoun, presented the university presidency’s speech and spoke about the university’s happiness with the achievement that their graduates achieve each year and their role in the labor market and praised the efforts of the faculty who, despite the university’s difficult conditions, still offer a lot to these students and urged students to benefit from The knowledge they received at the university and to take advantage of the free education opportunity that was provided to them, urging them to take advantage of the public relations that they would gain in the labor market and linking them to the university.
Then he talked about the development and prgress that the university has witnessed in recent years, represented by the persistent and loyal teaching and administrative staff, where the university was able to meet the late salaries.
Finally, the chancellor of the university concluded his speech by inviting students to develop their relationship with the university through the alumni affairs unit project, which deals with the affairs of the university's graduates since its establishment, wishing them a bright and honorable future.
Then a song about the university was performed, presented by the artists Asaad Khaled Bajubair and Mazen Salah Banboua, under the title "Ahgaffi and my head is up".
The university presidency was honored by the ceremony committee, as well as the deans of faculties and supporters.
Then the graduates of the Faculty of Administration and Economics, majoring in Accounting, batch 23, and graduates of the Faculty of Engineering and Computer Science, majoring in Information System, batch 9, were honored, amid the presence of families and friends and their joy in the fruits of their efforts for four years.
After that, the graduates prepared themselves to take a commemorative photo with the presidency of the university.
