Al-Ahgaff University participated in the global symposium held via Zoom, represented by researcher Dr. Hashim Alawi Moqaibel Professor of International Law at the Faculty of Sharia and Law at Al-Ahgaff University, which was created by the Global Platform for Human Rights and Freedoms, entitled "International Organizations Between Declared Slogans and Hidden Goals"
In addition to Dr. Hashem Moqaibel, the researcher Mr. Abdel Nasser Hoshan also participated in the symposium with a research paper entitled "Mechanisms to confront the work of these international non-governmental organizations." and Dr. Ghassan Abdel Qader with a research paper entitled "The Credibility of Human Rights Organizations in their Work". The facilitator of the symposium was Mr. Nasser Anwar Al-Adwani.
In his research paper, Dr. Hashem Moqaibel discussed the issue of international non-governmental organizations between humanitarian missions and interference in the internal affairs of states. where he talked about the meaning of international non-governmental organizations. Then presented the factors that assist the work of these organizations and the sources of power in them, then he talked about the concept of interference in the internal affairs of countries and the manifestations of these organizations’ interference in the internal affairs of countries under the justification of humanitarian work and human rights, then a number of forms of that interference represented in economic, political, intelligence and religious interference and warned at the end of this aspect of the role of these organizations and their practice of their activities in light of the reality of conflict in many countries and that there must be obligatory supervision by the competent authorities.
It is noteworthy that the symposium was held on Saturday at eight in the evening.
