On Thursday morning May 18, the Vice President of the University, Prof. Sadiq Omar Maknoon, met with Dr. Hashem Alawi Moqaibel, the Legal Adviser and Head of the Alumni Affairs Unit at the University, with Eng. Tariq Ali Balkhshar, Executive General Manager of the Hadramout Foundation - Human Development, in the University Presidency building.

During the meeting, the vice president of the university explained the importance of the prominent academic role that the university plays in society, based on its being the first private university established in Hadramout governorate and the prestigious position that the university enjoys in the labor market and educational institutions alike.

Pointing out that the university's outputs are distinguished at the academic level and its graduates spread at the local and international levels.

For his part, Eng. Tariq Ali Balkhshar talked about aspects of joint cooperation between the institution and the university and the importance of creating benefit from what both institutions offer to serve academic and societal goals.

The university was represented in signing the cooperation agreement by Prof. Sadiq Omar Maknoon, Vice President of the University, and the Hadramout Foundation - Human Development was represented by Eng. Tariq Ali Balkhshar.

The meeting was attended by members of the Alumni Affairs Unit, Mr. Ahmed Munir Al-Tamimi, the unit’s representative at the Faculty of Administration and Economics, and Mr. Mohamed Salem Al-Buri, the unit’s representative at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, and Mr. Ali Salem Al-Ghatar, technical advisor at the university.

It is noteworthy that the agreement supports the provision of internal scholarships at Al-Ahgaff University in accounting and information technology majors.
