Under the supervision of the Deanship of Quality and Academic Accreditation at Al-Ahgaff University, the English Language Unit held a workshop on Saturday morning, 9^th of December 2023, entitled “Building Achievement Tests for English Language Courses,” targeting English language instructors in all university faculties.

At the beginning of the workshop, Dr. Ahmed Saleh Khured, Dean of Quality and Academic Accreditation at Al-Ahgaff University, welcomed the attendees and praised the role of the workshops and their positive results through the discussions that the attendees enriched, stressing that the Deanship of Quality pays attention to implementing the workshops and developing its teaching staff at the university. After that, the trainer of the workshop Dr. Abdullah Al-Falaq began presenting an overview of the workshop sections, speaking about how to build achievement tests for English language courses. The workshop concluded by writing the workshop outcomes in order to benefit from them and implement them when developing tests.

In conclusion, the Director of the English Language Unit, Mr. Muhammad Al-Buri, thanked the University Presidency and the Deanship of Quality and Academic Accreditation for their support and sponsorship of such developmental training workshops. He also thanked the course trainer for facilitating and implementing this workshop. The workshop was attended by Dr. Hamza Al-Aidaroos, Deputy Dean of Quality and Academic Accreditation at the university.
