The Faculty of Sharia and Law at Al-Ahgaff University organized an orientation workshop on Tuesday, 7 July 2026 (22 Muharram 1448 AH), introducing faculty members to the "Al-Ahgaff Professor" application in preparation for its official launch at the beginning of the new academic semester. The initiative comes as part of the University's ongoing digital transformation strategy and its efforts to enhance academic and administrative performance.

The workshop was attended by the Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Abdullah Awadh Bin Sumait, the Dean of the Faculty of Distance Education, Mr. Zain Salem Bin Aqeel, the Head of the Department of Fiqh and Usul al-Fiqh, Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Saqqaf, along with a number of faculty members.

The session introduced participants to the application's features and demonstrated how it can be used to record student attendance, manage lectures, and submit reports electronically to the Registration Department, thereby improving operational efficiency and streamlining academic procedures.

Mr. Zain Salem Bin Aqeel also presented the key features of both the "Al-Ahgaff Professor" and "Al-Ahgaff Student" applications, highlighting their role in strengthening communication between the University, faculty members, and students while providing a comprehensive range of digital academic services.

The workshop witnessed active engagement from faculty members, who praised the application as a significant step forward in Al-Ahgaff University's digital transformation journey and an important contribution to enhancing the quality of its academic and administrative services.
