On Tuesday afternoon, the inaugural session of the Accounting Club was held at the University Chancellery building.
The session opened with a speech by Mr. Mohamed Salem Al-Bouri, Director of the Activities Department, where he welcomed the students of the Accounting Department and praised the idea and expressed the university’s support for such ideas that come within the extra-curricular activities that the university calls for.
Then it was the turn of the speech of the student/ Nawaf Badr Baghouza, founder of the club, where he introduced himself and the idea and its goals.
Then a PowerPoint presentation was made, consisting of an introduction, goals, results, organizational structure, committees, and finally, he talked about the CPA or Certified Public Accountant and its importance for the university student.
At the end of the session, the student/ Nawaf Badr Baghouza, was elected as a temporary president of the club. Members of each committee and heads of all committees were elected. It consisted of an organizing committee, a human resources committee, a media committee, a public relations committee and a financial committee.
At the beginning of each academic year, a new president and committee chairs will be elected.
It is noteworthy that the club consists of 30 students, and registration in the club is still open.
