The Faculty of Management and Economics at Al-Ahgaff University, in collaboration with the Hadramout Research Center, organized a specialized training course on the ONYX Pro accounting software for members of the Accounting Department. This initiative is part of the faculty’s ongoing efforts to enhance faculty skills and stay abreast of the latest technological developments in the field of accounting.
The course took place from June 29 to July 7 and witnessed active participation from faculty members. It offered a comprehensive overview of how to use ONYX Pro in various accounting processes, effectively bridging theoretical knowledge with practical application in academic instruction.
The sessions were led by Mr. Ahmed Mohammed Ba Aqil, a certified trainer from YemenSoft and faculty member. The training received positive engagement from participants, who explored the program’s practical features and its relevance to the labor market.
Mr. Alawi Al-Aidaroos, Dean of the Faculty of Management and Economics, emphasized that the course aligns with the faculty’s strategic plan to continuously develop its academic staff by equipping them with modern accounting tools. He noted that similar training programs will continue to be held, reflecting the faculty’s commitment to academic excellence and practical competence, in line with the university’s broader vision of community service and academic distinction.
In his remarks, Mr. Mohammed Al-Bouri, Head of the Hadramout Research Center, highlighted the value of collaboration between the center and the faculty in hosting such initiatives. He affirmed that these programs significantly contribute to enhancing the capabilities of academic staff and advancing the development of educational institutions.
