The management and students of the Faculty of Administration and Economics, together with the Dean of the Faculty, Mr. Alawi Abdel Qader Al-Aidarous, Mr. Ahmed Muhammad Baaqil and Mr. Akram Saleh Bamfurush, visited Al-Watania Factory for Canning and Packaging Fish on Sunday morning, March 13, 2022 in the city of Al-Shehr.

They were received by Dr. Ahmed Salem Bariyan, the general manager of the factory, and Mr. Hassan Saeed Baharoon, the financial manager of the factory.

Mr. Hassan Baharoon toured the visiting delegation around the factory, where they got acquainted with the factory's equipment and capacity, as well as learning about the production stages from the arrival of raw materials to the end of the production process.

The visiting delegation was hosted in the conference hall of the factory, where Mr. Hassan Baharoon spoke about the accounting cycle used in the factory and the nature of the accounting system used. The most prominent accounting treatments for industrial activities were discussed, and questions and discussion were opened.

For his part, Dr. Ahmed Bariyan, the general manager of the factory, expressed his great satisfaction at meeting the students of Al-Ahgaff University, who are described as distinguished and efficient, and pointed out that the system followed by the Faculty of Administration and Economics always contributes to the graduation of accountants armed with scientific knowledge and practical experience who are able to adapt in various different work environments, advising the students to continue with seriousness and diligence, as they are the leaders of tomorrow and the candle of the future.

At the end of the meeting, the dean of the faculty thanked the factory management for providing the opportunity and facilitating the visit. He also presented a commemorative shield to the factory management and certificates of appreciation to the general manager, Dr. Ahmed Bariyan, and the financial manager, Mr. Hassan Baharoon, for their great contribution to the success of the visit. Indicating the pride of the faculty that its graduates are present in the largest investment projects in the governorate.

It is worth mentioning that Dr. Ahmed Salem Bariyan is a graduate of the Accounting Department of the Faculty of Administration and Economics, the ninth batch, and Mr. Hassan Saeed Baharoon is a graduate of the Accounting Department of the Faculty, the seventh batch.
