# Department of Media and Activities at the Faculty / follow-up
The Dean of the Faculty of Sharia and Law, Dr. Abdullah Awad bin Sumait, met today with his Excellency the Indonesian Consul of Oman, Ahmed Maaroufi, who was accompanied by Mohaimen Ahmed Yassin, official of the presidential and legislative elections at the Embassy in a delegation comprising of officials and staff of the embassy.
The visit came to consolidate the relationship between the Indonesian side and the Faculty of Sharia and Law at Al-Ahgaff University, by inspecting the conditions of the Indonesian students, who constitute the largest segment of the students of the faculty.
At the start of the meeting, the Dean Dr. Abdullah Awad bin Sumait welcomed the Indonesian delegation, thanking them for the inconvenience and hardship to attend and visit, which shows their interest and attention in their students in the Faculty of Sharia and Law.
The Dean Dr. Abdullah stressed, for the Indonesian Consul and his accompanying delegation, on the importance of coordination and arrangement between the Embassy and the Faculty and explained to them how this would produce good results for both parties.
The Dean thanked the Consul and his accompanying delegation for their care and attention to the students, stressing that the State of Indonesia is the most country to interest in contacting with its students, organizing their affairs and serving their needs.
The Dean also expressed the readiness of the University and the Faculty to provide assistance and unite efforts and overcome all the difficulties before the students so that the educational process will bear fruit.
The Consul of Indonesia thanked the Dean of the Faculty for his warm reception and hospitality extending to him the greetings of the Indonesian Ambassador to Oman.
