In an atmosphere of scientific vigor and research activity and after a long break the scientific research forum of the teachers of the Faculty of Sharia and Law at the University of Ahgaff resumed its first session of the academic year 2018/2019.
The session was held in the library of the Faculty and in the presence of all faculty members, where a research paper was presented by Dr. Mohammed bin Abdul Qadir Al-Aidroos titled (the utterance 'Nakah' in the Holy Quran and linguists, a semantic study).
Dr. Alawi bin Abdul Qadir Al-Aidarous, Secretary General of the Department of Fatwa and Research, opened the session welcoming all teachers and announced the resumption of sessions in the scientific research forum at the faculty.
And then the chance was given to Dr. Mohammed Abdul Qader Al-Aidroos to give a brief perception of the research presented by the presentation of the idea contained in the research, exposing to the important aspects in it.
Dr. Abdullah Awad bin Sumait, Dean of the Faculty, thanked the Research Department for resuming the research activity in the faculty. He also thanked Dr. Mohammed Bin Abdul Qader Al Aidarous for opening the first session by presenting his research for discussion and deliberation.
After that, the Dean and the professors started the discussion about the research and the circulation of scientific opinions in it went on giving the chance of talk from one professor to another.
The discussion needed to be extended to a future session so that the Secretary of the Research Department announced to hold another session to complete the discussion on the research presented.
It is noteworthy that the scientific research forum at the Faculty was established several years ago, and provides scientific research written by professors to discuss, after the distribution of the research on all teachers a week before the meeting to review and give opinions and enrich the debate.
In the course of the past years, many researches were discussed among the professors and sheikhs in the Faculty, and also some fatwas were issued that were introduced to the Research and Fatwa Department.
