# Saturday 8/15/2020

Under the generous patronage of the Chancellor of Al-Ahgaff University, Professor Abdullah Muhammad Baharoun, on Saturday, 8/15/2020, at the College of Sharia and Law at Al-Ahgaff University opened the first training workshop for undergraduate programs under the slogan:

“Towards the development and quality of undergraduate programs”

That is from the period of 15-17 August 2020, conducted by the trainer Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Al-Saqqaf.

Dr. Abdullah Awad bin Sumait inaugurated the workshop, welcoming Professor Dr. Ahmed Muhammad Al-Saqqaf and all the teachers, indicating that this workshop comes in line with the goal of the university and faculty to develop undergraduate programs and curricula.

This workshop aims to achieve the following main points:

 1- Learning about basic concepts and terminology related to issues of program quality and development.

2- Analyzing the reality of bachelor’s programs in the faculty’s specializations, identifying strengths and aspects that need improvement, and taking advantage of the available opportunities.

3- Formulating and discussing the vision, mission and objectives of the Faculty of Sharia and Law, with the participation of all stakeholders.

4- Formulating and discussing the vision, mission and goals of the scientific departments of the faculty and their programs, with the participation of all stakeholders.

5- Formulating the learning outcomes of the existing programs in the faculty by making use of the appropriate reference frameworks.

6- Completing the description of programs according to the models approved by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

The workshop lasted for three days from 15-17 / 8/2020, with the presence of all teaching staff members of the faculty.
