Under the generous patronage of the President of Al-Ahgaff University, Professor Abdullah Muhammad Baharoon, two training workshops were held on Tuesday and Wednesday 1-2/1/2022 at the Faculty of Sharia and Law at Al-Ahgaff University, the first focused on the description of the doctoral program for the Department of Jurisprudence and its Fundamentals and the Master’s program for the Department of Law under the slogan:

"Towards the quality of graduate studies programs for the development of scientific research and the service of the nation." The second workshop was devoted to the description of graduate courses for the two departments and was entitled (Description of courses; a step towards achieving academic accreditation of graduate programs at the university) by the implementation of the trainer Prof. Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Al-Saqqaf

Dr. Mustafa bin Sumait opened the two workshops on behalf of the Dean of the Faculty, welcoming Prof. Dr. Ahmed Muhammad Al-Saqqaf and all attendants, and indicated that this workshop comes in line with the university's and the Faculty 's goal to develop undergraduate programs and curricula.

These two workshops aim to achieve the following main points:

1- Getting to know the course description document and its importance in the quality of programs.

2- Formulating course learning outcomes and linking them to program learning outcomes.

3- Linking the course learning outcomes to teaching strategies and assessment methods.

4- Description of a course in an academic program according to the field of specialization.

5- Knowing the components of the course study plan document.

During the workshop, committees were formed in the various specialization programs in the faculty, in which discussions were held, and opinions were exchanged and enriched about the course descriptions.

The workshop was attended by professors of graduate studies in the Department of Jurisprudence and its Fundamentals and law professors in the Department of Sharia and Law.
