The Dean of the Faculty of Sharia and Law, Al-Ahgaff University, Dr. Abdullah Awadh bin Sumait, received in his office in Tarim on Sunday 23/7/2023, Colonel Dr. Munir Omar Al-Tamimi, Director of the Civil Status and Civil Registry Branch in Tarim Directorate.

At the beginning of the meeting, the Dean of the College welcomed Colonel Munir Al-Tamimi, thanking him for this visit, which comes within his interest in linking relations and bridges of communication between an important facility of the state and the Faculty of Sharia and Law, the prominent scientific edifice in the Directorate.

For his part, Colonel Al-Tamimi extended his thanks to the dean and those in charge of the faculty for the warm reception, indicating his happiness with this visit to a distinguished scientific edifice from which many who had a role in society graduated and held important positions from inside and outside the country.

The conversation took place between the two parties in matters related to the reality of the educational process and its reflection on people and their behavior, and an indication of the influence of the Faculty of Sharia and Law in the role it plays in this field through the dissemination of knowledge, moderation, and respect for opinion and other opinion.

In the meeting, Colonel Al-Tamimi pointed out the importance of what the faculty and its facilities are doing, the most important of which is the faculty’s library, where he personally benefited greatly from it during his preparation for his master’s and doctoral dissertations. It is of interest to researchers in legal affairs.

The meeting was attended by Dr. Arafat Al-Maqdi, Head of the Department of Sharia and Law at the Faculty, and Dr. Saleh Ba Awadhan, Professor of Administrative Law at the Faculty and responsible for the Department of Quality and Accreditation.
