On Monday, June 10, 2019, Dr. Sadiq Omar Maknoun, Vice Chancellor of the University, received the delegation of parents of Malaysian students and students studying at Al-Ahgaff University. At the beginning of the meeting, the Vice Chancellor welcomed the delegation and gave them a comprehensive overview of the university and its characteristics. He also touched on the historical relationship between Hadramout and Malaysia.

For their part, the delegation represented by Professor Zubaidah Bint Isa Ali expressed their thanks and appreciation for the university's educational and living services for their Malaysian students. They also praised the excellent reputation of the university and the quality of its outputs.

The meeting ended with a tour in the faculties and departments of the university. Professor Zubaidah also visited the Faculty of Girls and met with the dean Dr. Sophia Al-Mohammadi. During the meeting, she was briefed on the conditions of the faculty and the course of study and future development.
