On Wednesday, February 9, 2022, the Alumni Affairs Unit at Al-Ahgaff University visited the Hadhramaut Chamber of Commerce and Industry where the head of the unit, Dr. Hashem Alawi Muqaibel, met with Mr. Munif Salah Lahmadi, Acting Director General of the Chamber of Commerce.

During the meeting, an introductory presentation of the idea of ​​the Alumni Affairs Unit and its endeavor to serve the graduates and expand the circle of cooperation with the competent authorities was presented.

For his part, Lahmadi gave a brief introductory explanation about the Chamber of Commerce's business, its importance and its continuing role in the process of supporting commercial sectors and individuals.

During the meeting, an initial agreement was reached to sign memoranda of understanding and partnership between the Unit and the Chamber of Commerce, pointing to the importance of the role of Al-Ahgaff graduates in this facility, as there are two students from Al-Ahgaff University graduates who occupy two important positions in the Chamber of Commerce, they are Mr. Abdul Rahman Muhammad bin Sumaida, Head of Information Department and Mr. Mohammed Omar Babasset, Head of the Department of International Foreign Relations.

The meeting was attended by Mr. Muhammad Saleh bin Taleb, the legal advisor at the university, and from the Alumni Affairs Unit, Mr. Mohsen Ali Bassum, the representative of the Faculty of Engineering and Computer Science in the unit, and Mr. Muhammad Salem Al-Buri, the representative of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities.
