The Faculty of Islamic Sciences at Al-Ahgaff University celebrates the third batch of graduates of Islamic studies, the Qur’an and its sciences

On Wednesday 10th of July, in Mukalla, the Faculty of Islamic Sciences at Al-Ahgaff University in Mukalla celebrated the third batch of graduates of Islamic studies, the Qur’an, and its sciences, in the presence of the university’s president, Professor Abdullah Muhammad Baharoon, and a group of students studying at the university.

The speech and honorary ceremony was opened with the recitation of verses from the Holy Qur’an and then nasheed, followed by a speech to the graduates delivered by the graduate Saleh Hussein Al-Attas.

In his speech during the ceremony, the President of Al-Ahgaff University, Professor Abdullah Muhammad Baharoon, urged the graduating students to continue the educational path, adhere to the teachings of our true religion, and convey the sublime message to the nation abroad with all care and honesty, since the students are faithful in conveying the message of our beloved Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and not to be deceived by the worldly temptations.

Professor Baharoon stressed the importance of graduate students living up to the level of religious responsibility placed on them in defending truth, standing against falsehood, and carrying the banner of Islam with all courage in all parts of the world, pointing out the necessity of boycotting all products affiliated with companies that stand against the Palestinian cause and support the destructive war against the patient and oppressed Palestinian people.

The Dean of the Faculty of Islamic Sciences, Dr. Samir Muhammad Sabi, urged the graduating students to continue learning and advising the nation with wisdom, good preaching, and steadfastness in the truth in the face of falsehood.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, the top students and graduates were honored with memorial shields and certificates of appreciation, and a memorial photos were taken.

The ceremony was attended by the Secretary-General of the University, Engineer Fayez Bin Shamla, department heads, faculty members, and a number of students studying at the university.
