Al-Ahgaff University participated with all its members in the solidarity stand held by the General Union of Hadhramout University Students in cooperation with the Madad and Al-Nasra Forum on the anniversary of Tawafan Al-Aqsa on October 7.

The gathering of the students of Al-Ahgaff University began this morning in front of the faculties building at the university, then they headed to the event square in front of the colleges complex at Hadhramout University.

This event comes in support of the Palestinian people and the Palestinian Arab Islamic cause and in denunciation of all the heinous crimes committed by the Israeli occupation and violations of all international charters and laws and humanitarian norms against the Palestinian people and in commemoration of the holy jihad and the blessed Tawafan Al-Aqsa.

In the stand, Professor Sadiq Omar Maknoon, Vice President of Al-Ahgaff University, participated with a speech in which he opened by thanking all those present for their participation and support for this Arab and Islamic cause. He pointed out in his speech that the Palestinian cause is the cause of the nation that cannot tolerate neutrality, and that what we see of crimes is a reflection of the European capitalist mentality, which cannot achieve peace, as this Western thought achieves nothing but killing and destruction, even if it claims peace. Advisor Dr. Hashem Muqaibel also participated with a speech that included warnings, the most important of which is that we do not seek peace from the international community or from the calls of the UN Security Council, and that we must make every effort to achieve the boycott and support for our brothers and support them with all forms of support while recalling our supplication for victory and empowerment in all circumstances.

Many academics, administrators and students at Al-Ahgaff University participated in this stand, and many television interviews were held with representatives of the university and its cadres in an effort to express their full solidarity with this anniversary.

The stand witnessed the attendance of all college students under the kind direction of Professor Abdullah bin Muhammad Baharoon, President of Al-Ahgaff University, who directed that all students be released from the first lecture of the day.

The stand was attended by the Legal Advisor and Director of the Office of the President of the University, Mr. Muhammad Salih bin Talib, and the Director of Training at the Hadhramaut Research Center affiliated with Al-Ahgaff University, Mr. Muhammad Salem Al-Bouri, and a number of academic professors at the university.
