Ambassador Muhammad Erzan Johan, Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to Yemen and the Sultanate of Oman, visited Al-Ahgaff University Monday morning, December 9, and was received by Professor Ahmed Khured, Dean of Quality and Academic Accreditation, who welcomed His Excellency the Ambassador and the accompanying delegation on this visit, conveying to them the greetings of Professor Sayyed Abdullah bin Muhammad Baharoon, President of Al-Ahgaff University.

At the beginning of the visit, His Excellency Ambassador Muhammad Erzan Johan toured the scientific library and learned from Counselor Dr. Hashim Muqaibel, Professor of International Law at the Faculty of Sharia and Law, about the scientific library, which includes thousands of diverse books, and the extent of the student's need for such references in light of the spread of the culture of electronic books.

His Excellency the Ambassador and the accompanying delegation also visited some of the lecture halls and the electronic library.

As His Excellency Ambassador Muhammad Erzan Johan is interested in male and female students, he began to ask about the admission mechanism and the workflow of the Expatriates Affairs Office from the time the student arrives at Al-Ahgaff University until his/her graduation. He listened to Mr. Sayed Zain bin Aqil, Director of the Expatriates Affairs Office, for a comprehensive explanation of the internal regulations and bylaws followed by Al-Ahgaff University in dealing with expatriates.

His Excellency Ambassador Muhammad Erzan also expressed his happiness with this visit and indicated in his speech that this visit is one of his most important visits to Hadhramaut.

He also praised the role of Al-Ahgaff University in academic education, especially since the university has a long history and has its local and regional influence at the scientific and professional levels. In his speech, His Excellency the Ambassador expressed the embassy's readiness to facilitate all procedures related to expatriate students from Indonesia at Al-Ahgaff University, and this will be one of his work priorities.

His Excellency the Ambassador was accompanied on this visit by Mr. Muhammad Rafiqi Fikrianshah, Consul Counselor, Mr. Muhammad Asif Sutisna, Consular Affairs Officer, and Mr. Sumardi, Administrative Affairs Officer.

From Al-Ahgaff University, Mr. Zain bin Aqeel, Director of the Expatriates Affairs Office, Dr. Abdullah Al-Hamid, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Sharia and Law in Mukalla, Counselor Dr. Hashim Muqaibel, Head of the Graduates Unit and Faculty Member, Dr. Asfia Al-Rahman, Faculty Member, Mr. Muhammad Salih bin Sheikh Abu Bakr, Director of the University President’s Office, and Mr. Hamza Abdullah Baharoon, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Islamic Sciences, also attended.
