Professor Sadiq Omar Maknoon, Vice President of Al-Ahgaff University, met on Tuesdaymorning, May 13, in his office in Mukalla, with the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Al-Wasatiya University, Mr. Abdulraqib Al-Attas, to strengthen academic relations and joint cooperation between the two universities.

The meeting, attended by Professor Ahmed Khured, Dean of Quality and Academic Accreditation at Al-Ahgaff University, focused on enhancing academic cooperation and promoting scientific exchange. Discussions included the sharing of expertise in the areas of quality assurance and academic accreditation, with the aim of advancing both universities across various disciplines and in scientific research. The collaboration also seeks to enrich academic content through curriculum development aligned with the ministry’s guidelines.

The Chairman of the Board of Trustees praised the academic and research level achieved by Al-Ahgaff University and its scientific mission, which has extended beyond the borders of the nation to East Asia and Africa. He emphasized the importance of building strategic partnerships that serve the educational process and contribute to the advancement of university outcomes.

For his part, the Vice President of Al-Ahgaff University, Professor Sadiq Maknoon, welcomed the visit of the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Al-Wasatiya University, praising the depth of relations between them and the necessity of developing them in a way that serves and achieves the goals of the two universities, wishing Al-Wasatiya University success and development in fulfilling its scientific mission.
