Dr. Hussein Ali Al-Aidarous, Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Islamic Sciences and Director of the Arabic Language Center for Non-Native Speakers at Al-Ahgaff University, received on Tuesday 20^th January, Professor Yahya Al-Jamzuri Zain Al-Ma‘arif, Director of Al-Bahjah Institute in Cirebon, Indonesia, along with his accompanying delegation, at his office.

During the visit, Professor Al-Jamzuri was briefed on the progress of the educational process for Indonesian students enrolled at the Arabic Language Center from Al-Bahjah Institute and other Indonesian religious institutes. He listened to a comprehensive presentation by the Center’s Director regarding the study system, curricula, courses, and approved educational programs. Both sides also discussed areas of cooperation and partnership in the exchange of academic expertise.

Professor Al-Jamzuri met with the students studying at the Center in their classrooms, encouraging them to be diligent in seeking knowledge and to practice the Arabic language in all aspects of their daily lives inside and outside the Center. He urged them to memorize a large number of Arabic vocabulary items to enhance their speaking and writing skills, to adhere to proper ethics in the pursuit of knowledge, and to make the most of their studies at the Arabic Language Center at Al-Ahgaff University, which carries an educational mission serving students from various countries, with an impact extending beyond Yemen to East Asia and Africa.

At the conclusion of the visit, Professor Al-Jamzuri expressed his great pleasure with the visit, extending his thanks to the Dean of the Faculty and the administrative staff of the University.

The meeting was attended by Mr. Hassan Mohammed Maknoon, Administrative Director of the University’s Colleges; Mr. Omar Abdulrahman Al-Attas, Registrar of the Arabic Language Center; and a number of faculty members and administrative staff.
