As part of Al-Ahgaff University’s efforts to strengthen its academic presence and enhance cooperation with educational institutions in Southeast Asia, the Faculty of Distance Education at the University received Professor Yahya Zain Al-Ma‘arif Jamzuri, President of Bahjah University and Institutes in the Republic of Indonesia, on Sunday, 18 January 2026, during his visit to the University.

The guest was received by Mr. Zain Salem bin Aqeel, Dean of the Faculty of Distance Education and Director of International Students Affairs, where a meeting was held to review the University’s experience in e-learning and to discuss potential areas of cooperation in distance education and the exchange of academic expertise.

The meeting included an introduction to Al-Ahgaff University’s e-learning system and the flexible educational environment it provides, in addition to exploring ways to benefit from this system for international students, particularly those from Indonesia.

The discussion also addressed prospects for academic collaboration between the two institutions in areas such as joint programs and distant education through digital platforms.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides expressed their interest in maintaining coordination and exploring practical steps to enhance cooperation in the future.
